THE MODELS AND THE PRACTICES OF RESOLVING ETHNOCULTURAL CONTRADICTIONS IN NATIONAL STATES: INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

For more than twenty years of being of modern Russia in the political map of the world, problems related to ethnic, religious and cultural diversity in society are no less acute. And if during the period of the 90s to the fore issues of separatism offsetting some territories (Chechnya, Tatarstan, Bashkiria, etc ), at the turn of the first and second decade of the new century in the hierarchy of cultural contradictions have come to occupy a special place the problems of migrants ( for According to the newspaper "Izvestia", "now home to about 10 million illegal immigrants"1), including illegal, ethnic crime, religious ( IslamicWahhabi ) extremism, ethnic clashes, etc. In addition a special significance in society, scientific and expert community receives the pursuit of national unifying concept different layers, groups, and ethnic groups, contradictory and incoherence of government policy in the field of interethnic relations. However, towards developing the best approach in the resolution of ethno-cultural issues has international experience with the presence of a number of models that can be applied in the Russian Federation, taking into account its specificity.Downloads
