The purpose of the article is to identify the relationship between the dynamics of changes in the socio-political and socio-economic situation in the public mind with the social order and institutional stability in the region based on secondary analysis of the results of sociological studies from 2015 to 2020 conducted on the territory of one of the subjects of the Central Federal District. In modern conditions, the relationship of the socio-political situation in the region with the social order and institutional stability is increasing. The political participation of citizens, both in conventional and non-conventional forms, in particular, participation in election campaigns, protests, directly depends on the assessment of the socio-political and regional situation in the country as a whole and in the region in particular. The authors note that in a number of Russian regions the socio-political situation in certain time periods may deteriorate, seriously differing from all-Russian indicators. In the presented material, the authors also determined the main changes in the moods and, accordingly, the intentions in the behavior of the region’s residents and assessed the level of support for the confidence of political actors of the subject of the Russian Federation in terms of the viability of the regional political system.Downloads
