POLITICAL ASPECTS OF INTER-ETHNIC RELATIONS IN CRIMEA

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to characterize the political aspects of modern interethnic relations in the Republic of Crimea. The responsible area of modern politics is international relations of an international and domestic nature. Moreover, along with ethnocultural and religious, the political content of interethnic relations is becoming increasingly acute. Manifesting in various forms, it poses a significant danger to the unity of states and the stability of society in many countries. The study of such political manifestations of interethnic relations, exploring conflict and instability, is relevant both at the level of states and at the level of their individual regions. In the space of the Russian Federation, this problem is especially relevant for the Republic of Crimea. The research methodology is represented by a combination of systemic and historical methods - this made it possible to analyze a variety of factual data in order to identify trends in the development of interethnic relations in Crimea and assess their political content. As a result, the three most significant political aspects to date in the interethnic relations of the Republic of Crimea were identified, the content of their influence on public life was revealed, and ideas were expressed regarding the activities of government bodies in the political space of the republic.
