SPECIFICITY OF SOCIAL AND LABOR RELATIONS OF SCIENTIFIC AND PEDAGOGICAL WORKERS AND MOTIVATION OF THEIR WORK

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to analyze the specifics of social and labor relations in educational institutions of higher education. Scientific and pedagogical workers are the main factor of production processes in the field of education. The field of research has become social and labor relations in the field of education, in particular higher education, and the professional activity of scientific and pedagogical workers. The specificity of social and labor relations in education is determined primarily by the specifics of pedagogical work. The analysis of the employee's positions in the SRT system of a private organization and the positions of the scientific and pedagogical workers of educational institutions of higher education allows us to conclude that the requirements for the second level are much higher compared to the first. Professional activity of scientific and pedagogical workers takes place against the background of relatively higher requirements for them than employees of private organizations in hiring and renewing an employment contract. As a result of the study, it was concluded that the devaluation of labor values and the underestimation of highly skilled intellectual labor, among other things, resulted in a deep crisis of social and labor relations in the country and became one of the most serious problems of the country's social and economic development. This crisis is manifested in many sectors of the Russian economy, but is especially evident in the education system, in particular in higher education. The SRT system of an educational organization should be aimed not only at improving the efficiency of the work of university staff, but also create conditions for social protection.
