SPIRITUAL AND MORAL CHOICES IN LIFE STRATEGIES OF YOUTH: EXPERIENCE OF THE SOCIOLOGICAL RESEARCH

Abstract

The purpose of the article is based on the materials of sociological research, to determine the strategic goals and actions of the Russian youth from the standpoint of spiritual and moral grounds. It is proved that the strategies of young people as a special social group in various spheres of activity are determined by actualized life values and depend on the state of the social environment, which can provide stability or, on the contrary, produce risks of their implementation. According to the results of the study, the problem orientations characterizing the life prospects of the young generation and allowing to predict the future state of the entire social system are determined. As the most disturbing trends are the focus on the immigration model of life strategy and the rejection of cohabitation with elderly parents.
