THE ANALYSIS OF THE PRESENT STATE OF INVESTMENT ACTIVITY IN RUSSIA

Abstract

The article considers investment activity in the Russian Federation as an integral part of the modernization of the country's economic system. The purpose of this article is to assess the current state of investment activities in Russia, to identify prospects for its development. The methodology of the study is to summarize and analyze statistical data and rating indicators that characterize the key business conditions and the quality of the investment climate at the country level. The conducted study of the indicators of the Russian Federation in the rating of business advantage made it possible to conclude that the investment attractiveness is low due to the existing difficulties in the administrative and financial management of the country, which needs the further development of a favorable investment climate formation system, the development of more targeted measures to create comfortable conditions for the entrepreneurial activities. In the article the authors assessed the dynamics of the volume of direct investments, investments in fixed assets and factors limiting investment activity in the Russian Federation.
