COMMUNICATION INTERACTION OF GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES, MEDIA AND INSTITUTIONS OF CIVIL SOCIETY AS A TOOL OF INTEGRATION OF YOUTH IN THE POLITICAL PROCESS

Abstract

The subject of the article is the media as the main communicator in the development of a dialogue between state structures and civil society institutions for involving youth in social and political practices of Russian society. The purpose of the article is to analyze the influence of the media on the formation of the political potential of youth and its inclusion in the political process. As a result of the analysis, the author suggests a hypothesis that, despite the neutrality of the media, the consequences of involving the institution in the interests of a political actor largely depends on the purpose for which they are replicated. The author presents an analysis of ways and means of influencing the mass media on the formation of political consciousness and political orientations of the younger generation in modern Russia. Some proposals are made to increase the political potential of youth and its integration into the Russian political process. It is proved that the increase in information openness of public authorities is one of the main criteria for assessing the effectiveness of their activities. The findings will form the basis for further research on the constructive role of the media in shaping public opinion and developing political initiatives in the youth environment.
