DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF ECONOMIC SYSTEMS AND ITS INFLUENCE ON INTERNATIONAL INVESTMENT ACTIVITY OF BUSINESS

Abstract

The digital economy will evolve and transform in the next few years to achieve its main purpose the use of unused or underutilized assets in the global economy. In this regard, it is relevant to study the nature, principles, opportunities and threats of international business investment. Purpose: presentation of the results of the research in the field of assessing the impact of digitalization processes on international business investment activity. Methodology research is an analysis of the current state of the system of international investment, determining the prospects for its development. Also, an assessment was made of materials characterizing the development of digitalization processes both in the whole world and their distribution in the Russian economy. As a result, the importance of the digital economy for international investment and digital development is justified. First, the introduction of digital technologies can radically change the nature of the international activities of companies and the impact of foreign affiliates on investment policy. Secondly, the digital development of all countries and the participation of developing countries in the global digital economy require a focused international investment policy, without which it is impossible to build a network infrastructure that stimulates the development of a business working with digital technologies and support the transformation of the new economy as a whole. The authors came to the conclusion that digital technologies became the main factor of economic growth, methods of conducting production processes and technical means of their implementation have acquired a complex character. In this regard, the level of development of technology has had an impact on social and economic development and, as a result, influenced the international investment activity of business.
