DEVELOPMENT OF TOURIST IN THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC SPACE OF THE HISTORY OF THE SARATOV REGION: SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract

The system analysis of various aspects of development of the tourist industry in the Saratov region is carried out. Empirical information is presented allowing to evaluate and analyze the views of local lore specialists and tourism operators on tourism and in this context to consider the problems of the formation of the conceptual apparatus "sociology of tourism". Consideration and analysis of different points of view and arguments lead to the conclusion that urban tourism in Saratov nowadays is inferior to many Russian cities, which is determined by the need to restore and improve many places of leisure, monuments and cultural heritage of the Saratov region in order to develop tourist attraction city and preservation of historical color.
