Abstract

n the minds of Russians, 1917 is associated, first of all, with the centenary of the February revolution and the subsequent October events. And it is not by chance. After all, Nineteen seventeen is rightly considered a turning point in modern history, after which Russia and the world could no longer be the same and began to develop along a new social trajectory. Many states, under the influence of the ideas of Russian revolutionism and the practice of post-revolutionary modernization, developed from wild capitalism to a social oriented economy, abandoned authoritarianism and formal democracy in favor of an open and diversified system of power and government, ceased to suppress the person and gave people more rights for self-realization.
