Abstract

The article analyzes the different regional conflicts of the modern Russian socio-economic crisis. The case of the Republic of Tatarstan is shown as the example. The center of the research is the analysis of conflicts in the process of economic crisis. Four types of economic conflicts are considered, two of which do not have an institutional framework for regulation, and two stimulate protests and social tension. The conflict management process is described through the degree of effectiveness of the mechanisms and practices of the activities of the republican authorities in various situations. The interaction of central and regional authorities is analyzed, using the example of interaction between the Russian political elite and the leadership of Tatarstan. The context for the consideration of conflicts is the changes in regional politics in the modern Russian Federation. It is concluded that the redistribution of financial flows between the subjects of the Federation can change their weight in the economic and political processes of the country, reduce the number of donor regions, exacerbate existing contradictions and conflicts.
