The article analyzes the functioning of civil journalism platforms in the Eurasian Economic Union states, the efficiency of which is associated with the implementation of the concept of electronic sovereignty. It is proved that the creation of dialogue space at the interstate level based on the principles of tolerance and mutual respect can be considered as an integrative function of civil journalism in the EAEU. It is shown that, in the context of the limited influence of independent media in the EAEU states, civil journalism platforms are being developed as independent online projects. Based on the analysis of the media systems in Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, the problem of interpreting the permissible degree of state interference in the functioning of the national segments of the Internet is revealed. It is proved that in the case of selective attitude to external information flows and establishment of limited Eurasian information sovereignty, it is possible to achieve economic benefits (growth of profits due to import substitution) and social (reduction of civil tension) benefits.Downloads
