Abstract

n the article the key features revealed in the activity of political parties and movements of nationalist direction in the political process of modern Russia are discussed. The author draws a number of conclusions about the influence of these parties and movements on the state of Russian national security. It is proved that among the key characteristics of national security there is the presence of inter-ethnic and inter-confessional consent, involving stability and integrity of the political system.The author concludes that instability in forming ethnic and religious relations leads not only to certain political and social conflicts within the country but also causes the reaction in the external environment
