STRUCTURAL SHIFTS OF THE INDUSTRIAL WORLD: TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE ERA OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNOLOGICAL REVOLUTION

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to consider the structural shifts of the industrial world in the framework of technological development in the era of the scientific and technological revolution (STR). The ongoing global restructuring of the industrial world provoked transformation of relations in related industries, which subsequently led to a rethinking of this issue from the perspective of the duality of choosing local or regional location for technological production. As a result of the study, the authors identified the factors of structural changes in the era of scientific and technological progress, the genesis of structural changes in the industrial world is described, indicators of technological development in the context of the "industrial world".are grouped. From the point of view of the authors, the main indicator of the technological development of the "industrial world" is the indicator of high technology, which inherently reflects the cost component in the framework of R&D. A unified system of the industrial world is based on the diversification of demand for industrial goods, formed in terms of production functions. Measures to structure the shifts of the industrial world include: creating a single integrated system of the industrial world without losing country diversification, digitalization of industrial sectors, formation of an international industrial cycle of new industries, regional capital mobility without eliminating the localization of a country character, changing the industrial structure of industrial production, and resistance environmental standardization.
