Abstract

The purpose of the article is to prove that the nature of social metamorphoses that have historical and cultural conditionality, their objective and man-made foundations, are constantly getting more complicated, more unpredictable, and their social consequences are getting more severe. The most significant types of the metamorphoses examined in the article are metamorphoses of domination and cooperation, political reflections and dramatization of reality. The article explores the factors and conditions for the emergence of sanction metamorphoses as a special phenomenon of social life, leading to ruptures and injuries of the international social order. The research methodology is the analysis of the inconsistency of the sources, causes and characteristics and consequences of the widespread use of sanction metamorphoses. Methods - analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, retrospection and comparison. The article presents several types of this kind of metamorphosis. The authors reveal the main substantive components of the radical transformation of traditional domination and cooperation into centaur domination, based on "fluid violence" and "fluid fear" for their future. It is shown that staging reality, performances with the meanings of Good and Evil provoke metamorphoses of political reflections, leading to shocking political cataclysms, deformations of law and moral traditions, and violations of established international cooperation practices. The possibility of metamorphoses as “positive side effects” of sanctions is substantiated. The authors see the main factor in the emergence of positive metamorphoses in a humanistic turn, the meaning of which lies in the transition to a new trend in the perception of social life. The authors conclude that the perception of metamorphoses on the basis of modern scientific knowledge and international law should be primarily focused on overcoming the morally flawed mercantile principles of the perception of the world, and the affirmation of humanism in innovation, including in international activities.
