INFORMATION AND PSYCHOLOGICAL CONFRONTATION IN THE SPHERE OF REGIONAL SECURITY OF THE CIS: IDEOLOGICAL AND DOCTRINAL BASES

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to consider the content and features of the informational and psychological struggle in the post-Soviet space. The subject of the research is the methodological models for promoting the hepolytic expansion of international players in the information and ideological space of the CIS. The relationship between the political goal-setting of the leading actors in world politics in the field of information warfare and the development of its ideological and doctrinal support is revealed. The author substantiates the idea that at the present stage of international relations, it is the ideological factor that determines the focus of the strategies of information and psychological influence that are realized by states and their coalitions in the context of their geopolitical interests. The article analyzes the key principles of ideological concepts that are used by the United States and its allies to propagandize ideological attitudes and motivations that undermine the mental unity of the peoples of the CIS and form challenges and threats to regional security in the near abroad of Russia. As a result of the study, it is concluded that the competition for the geopolitical preferences of the new independent CIS states between the leading actors in world and regional politics gives rise to new ideological doctrines and artificially shaped worldview identities, the content of which determines the context of the information-psychological confrontation in the post-Soviet space.
