INFLUENCE OF DIGITALIZATION POLICY ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF CIVIL SOCIETY INSTITUTIONS IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to identify the relationship between digitalization processes and the development of communication capabilities of civil society and its institutions. The political nature of digitalization is highlighted, its multilateral nature is considered. The article examines the likelihood of the formation of challenges and negative consequences from the side of informatization and the development of digital communications in relation to the process of formation of civil society. In the article, the author analyzed the influence of digital technologies in the development of civil society institutions in modern Russia. The practices of introducing digital technologies into the sphere of interaction between the state and socially oriented non-profit organizations are summarized. The priorities of state policy to support civil society institutions are identified in the context of the dynamic development of digital technologies in public administration. As a result of the study, the conclusion is made about the contradictory consequences of informatization. Some conclusions are made about the prospects for the development of communication channels of civil society institutions in modern Russia. Due to well-grounded government strategies, the digital transformation of politics can open up new opportunities for creating effective communication platforms for government bodies and institutional structures of civil society, in particular socially oriented non-profit organizations.
