USING RISK MANAGEMENT IN THE ACTIVITIES OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION BODIES ABROAD

Abstract

In modern macroeconomic conditions, public administration bodies are a key element in the development of the national economy, since because of the results of their work timely and most effective management decisions the well-being of the social structure and development depend on. At the same time, the activity of these bodies is influenced by many unfavorable facts public administration risks. However, today neither in the domestic nor in the foreign scientific literature there is a single approach to neutralizing the effects of these risks. Therefore, the main purpose of this research is the study of international experience with the aim of finding and integrating the identified positive risk management models in the activities of domestic state and municipal authorities.The subject of the study is the relationship that arises between state and municipal authorities in the process of applying risk management in the activities of public authorities abroad. The research methodology is an analysis of the activities of public administration bodies abroad and in modern Russia. The results of a study of foreign experience indicate that today one of the most developed risk management systems is the UK model. However, due to the presence of a number of weaknesses, the application of the British experience, without eliminating the shortcomings and adapting to domestic practice, will not bring the desired socio-economic effect.
