UNIQUE AND INVARIANT FEATURES OF MODERNITY: RISKS, CONFLICTS AND COMMUNICATIONS

Abstract

The aim of the article is to analyze the current sociocultural situation using the John Law methodology for improving the mechanisms of social management at the level of society and individual organizations. The object of the article is the modern socio-cultural situation. The subject of research is unique and invariant features of modernity in a situation of anthropological crisis and crisis of knowledge. Modernity is viewed in the plane of cognitive activity using the methodology of John Law, who proposes to rethink the significance of the sociological approach and the quantitative methods of the social sciences in the research of contemporary practices. The article uses the methods of narrative description, cartography and method assembly, which can be used to effectively manage social processes and phenomena (risks and conflicts). The features of modernity are interpreted in the form of five configurations, the bases of which are communications, risks and conflicts. The results of the study can be applied in the improvement of modern management of communications, risks and conflicts at the level of society and organizations of various forms of ownership.
