MODERN MODELS OF FORMATION OF CAREER STRATEGIES OF YOUTH: THE EXPERIENCE OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to present the results of studying the system of higher education of the Republic of India, obtained during the International Educational Internship. The authors highlighted the main models for shaping the career strategy of young people in various types of educational institutions of the Republic of India, and made analogies with the work of the career centers of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration at the federal and regional levels. The model of building the career of civil servants in the Republic of India is an independent area of professional activity, in which the only educational institution is the monopolist the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA). Public institutions of higher education carry out significant work on career development and graduate employment by creating their own databases and performing a full cycle of student support from posting a resume to meeting with an employer and a guaranteed interview. The work of the leading private business schools of the Republic of India allows to achieve 100% employment of graduates, including employment in the foreign labor market, through a combination of rigorous selection of applicants and comprehensive support for each student. The authors come to the conclusion that the experience of the Republic of India can be successfully adapted to Russian realities and will logically complement the already existing effective forms of work.
