The article considers some factors that cause the emergence and development of social injustice in rural areas. From the results of sociological research conducted after 1991, it was concluded that among the integral factors that cause social injustice in rural areas there are socio-economic and political problems. In particular, the main factor in reducing the standard of living is unemployment, which affects the emergence of mass poverty, quality of life, fertility, the growth of psychological apathy and uncertainty in the future. Studying the specifics of life in rural areas after the 90s of the 20th century demonstrates the negative consequences of economic reforms for Russian rural settlements. Relying on the materials of sociological research of the Russian village, the analysis of dynamics and tendencies of growth of social injustice is presented.Downloads
