CONTEMPORARY POLITICAL AND RELIGIOUS PORTRAIT OF THE SARATOV REGION

Abstract

The article presents the religious specificity of the Saratov region as a factor that influences the internal political process. Based on the data of sociological research conducted by Russian research services, expert reports, statistical information of government bodies and authorities, features of the religious worldview of citizens are revealed. Also, the whole spectrum of religious organizations registered in the region has been analyzed, the features of their activities have been explored, which must be taken into account when carrying out regional policies. The purpose of the article is to reveal the political and religious specifics of the region, which must be taken into account when carrying out regional policies.
