AGRARIAN STRUCTURE AS A FACTOR OF AGRICULTURE SUSTAINABILITY

Abstract

The article considers the agrarian structure in agriculture as a factor that can influence its sustainability, taking into account the goals of the world development of the UN until 2030. The work concludes that the agrarian structure in Russia is formed under the influence of the policy in the field of state support. The data are given showing unequal access to state support of agricultural producers that contributes to the focal development of agriculture not only across the country, but also in individual territories. Calculations are made on the comparative effectiveness of organizations receiving different state support and having different sizes; the conclusion is done that the creation of artificial conditions for the concentration of land resources, gratuitous state support in the hands of individual organizations and holding companies does not contribute to improving the sustainability of agriculture. The author formulated recommendations for the government with a view to normalizing the agrarian structure and increasing the sustainability of agriculture.
