Abstract

n the article the experience of formation of human rights movement in the USSR and Russia during democratization of political regime is structured. Among problems of creation of the mechanism of protection of the civil rights the special attention is paid to A. D. Sakharov’s human rights activity, thanks to his work the main postulates of concepts of civil society and legal state began to form. The authors come to the conclusion about the need to generalize historical experience of the activities of human rights organizations in order to improve the mechanism of protection of civil rights at the present stage.
