CONCEPTUALIZATION OF THE CONCEPT "SOCIAL HEALTH OF THE POPULATION OF THE SENIOR AGE GROUPS"

Abstract

Social health is considered as a component of individual health, a factor of realization of biopsychosocial needs of a person, and also in the conditions of global society ageing its stable functioning. The potential of social health is put in social and network practices of the individual whose realization among elderly people is complicated. Meanwhile, they play a large role in maintenance of their physical and psychological (mental) health. The approaches to the analysis of social health are presented and mechanisms of influence of social component of health on health are analyzed in the article, in general.
