SOCIAL ASPECTS OF FOOD SECURITY OF THE STATE IN MODERN CONDITIONS

Abstract

The main social aspects in the food security of the country in the current economic conditions in the framework of the doctrine of food security and implementation of national security strategy are revealed.The main regulated indicators in the field of food security are analyzed. The main criteria of food security, first, characterizing the presence of food goods (production, import, etc.), and second, reflecting the availability of food for the population (income level, unemployment rate) are identified. The necessity of increasing efficiency of state support for sustainable development of rural areas is proved, as well as increasing financial support and improving implementation of social programs in rural areas, monitoring the unemployment rate and the real income of the rural population, diversification of rural employment.
